In 2004 you elected a ‘hung’ council – one with no one party in control – but honestly have you seen any difference? On almost all issues the Tories have voted with labour, leaving the Liberal Democrats as the only real opposition.

Liberal Democrats are honest enough to say that regeneration does no solve all our problmens. We support sympathetic regeneration, sympathetic to our rich and varied architectural and landscape heritage. We welcome development that enhances our town and employment in it but not at the price of blighting that heritage.
Liberal Democrats will not accept second best.
